Resolve to Make a Difference

In this week of resolutions, how about a resolution that can make a huge difference in the lives of people all over the globe and arguably for the planet itself?

When you say yes to World Can’t Wait and commit your time and money to this movement you make mobilizing people to resist and stop the crimes of our government possible. And better yet, you make it happen with creativity and confidence in the cause.

Do you think we need a new generation of college students and others grounded in the science and morality of abortion, and willing to struggle for it?

Do you want to see a wave of people taking creativity and outrage to the street against the horrendous crimes our government is committing in Afghanistan?

If you answered yes, help make it possible…fund the movement that is doing just that! World Can’t Wait is kicking off 2010 with two speaking tours aimed at young people: The Stand up for Abortion Rights Tour and We Are Not Your Soldiers Tour.

If you want to see an anti-war movement that will act and speak and stick to its principles, no matter how unpopular they are at the moment, then support World Can’t Wait.

The degree to which this message is out there is dependent on the funding World Can’t Wait receives. The protests we organize, the high-profile forums we host, the speaking tours we sponsor all have a price tag.

These programs comprise an important part of our mission; one we cannot fulfill without your support. If you’ve never given to World Can’t Wait, now is a great time to start.

If you’ve supported us over the past 4 years, we need you now more than ever.

Be a part of ensuring that there is visible resistance to the crimes of this government. Now is your chance to take your outrage and your disappointment and make a difference. We have an opportunity to make the change that no one in the White House or Congress is making.

There is a reservoir of people out there who care about humanity, and who can do this, but only if challenged and mobilized. That force is unique but cannot grow without you! Join the movement by making a generous tax-deductible end-of-year donation to propel the resistance in 2010.
For those of who already made their end-of-year donation, we thank you for your support. Please forward this appeal to 5 friends.

Samantha Goldman, The World Can’t Wait

P.S. Remember no donation is too small or too large. But hurry, you can make your tax-deductible donation on-line until midnight Thursday.
